Santa Visit 2011

Instead of visiting us on Christmas Day, Santa usually visits us early at the annual SCU Christmas party.  Abars - thanks for hosting a fun party for all of us!

This guy doesn't scare me!

Been anxious all week for this day as I wasn't sure if I was on his good list since I only listen "sometimes."

Santa always seems to know exactly what we want!

Santa with the ladies.

Santa with the fellas ... they seem so "friendly" with Santa.

Happy kids with our new toys.

Rainbow boy band caroling outside after the adult's gift exchange.

Their 2nd Google Holiday party this month @ Mark Hopkins Hotel in SF.  They enjoyed lots of yummy food, awesome company and great music. Grandpa, Grandma & Great Grandma - thanks for dinner and a fun time!   Dada got creative and took this photo off a buffet tray cover.

Mama's favorite was the mini fruit tarts.

Chill Sunday afternoon at home while Mari naps.

We finally have a cousin

We met our very 1st cousin, Logan Hibbs Hawke (Mama's sister's baby).  He's 1 week old.  Our mom held him almost the whole visit.  I think she misses us being this size - where we don't move and don't talk (back).

I turned 11 months old this week and ready to be Santa's helper.   Only 1 more month before my big ONE.

Google holiday party at SF Design Center.  Madi Gas theme with food from around the world, live band and lots of fun activities.

15 years ago, our parents become boyfriend/girlfriend.  Friday night they went back to SCU to reminisce what life was like pre-kids (bet it wasn't as fun).

We had a prime rib dinner on Sunday celebrating Grandpa turning 62.  We're so happy he lives in Nor Cal  now so we can celebrate together.

Laser Tag

On Sat, we spontaneously went to Laser Quest in Mt. View and had a blast!  We're saving up our "good job bucks" so we can go back soon.   Anyone want to come with us?

Learning how to play pool while the boys play arcade behind me.

Recess at Sat morning Chinese school.  Slowly but surely we're making progress in learning Mandarin.

My kinder Thanksgiving feast ... we made Stone Soup.

PoPo - thanks for coming over with all the goodies from your trip to China and for playing Operation with us!

Lunchtime with one of my buddies, who's a twin.

Playdate with Micah.  He's a cutie but not very fun yet, he slept through most of our date ;-)  Our mommies had a good time chatting and eating away.

Operation Christmas Child Project

On Sunday, we invited our our church friends, neighbors and classmates over to pack "shoebox" christmas gifts for needy children around the world.  We filled them up with toys, socks, toothbrushes, tothpaste, soap, stickers etc, lots of fun and useful things.  This is our 4th year doing this.  Anyone want to join us next year?

Afternoon stroll around our neighborhood, one of Mama's favorite things to do.

On Monday nite, Mama and Auntie Jen went out to celebrate her recent engagement to Uncle Steve.  They had some yummy seafood - oyster and tuna poke.

Annual SCU adult only Thanksgiving dinner at the Lee's.   I got to tag along since I'm still a baby. I learned how to clap while rooting for Manny Pacquiao.

While our parents and Mari were at the Thanksgiving party, we had a sleepover with Auntie Emi and Uncle Roo.  Party started at Red Robin, our favorite restaurant.   Thanks for my new Star Wars thermos, I'm so excited to show my friends tomorrow!

Then back to the slumber party pad for some "America-opoly," a gift they got us from their trip to DC. Lots of good laughs.  We can't wait to sleep over again.  Thanks for spoiling us Auntie Emi and Uncle Roo!

My 1st time on the swing.  My big bro was so nice to push me the whole time.

Meet Honey, my kinder class bear.  My turn to keep him for the week.

Sushi dinner with the Mews and Chans.  We're always praying for our twin cousins to be healthy (a boy AND a girl due in March), now we're going to pray that they'll live close to us so we can play together all the time ;-)

Mama and Dada's month-i-versary date. This month they went to the mall and Krung Thai.  Anyone free to come sleep-sit us on the 10th of each month?  Uncle Stanley - thanks for sleepsiting us 11/10!

Double Digits

Turned double digits this past Friday.  Mama got this jacket for me when I was 1 month old.  She's so happy I can fit it now.  All ready for the cold weather.

This month's Home Depot project is a picture frame.

Trick or treating with our neighbors / SCU friends, the Fongs.

Our 2nd cousin,  Bumble Bee Naty came by the Rivermark to get some candy.

We installed 8 recess lights in our living room, so nice to have more light to play and read.  Love it!

Mama had a ramen date with Auntie Nina (soon to be mommy of 4!).

This weekend Dada's family came over for dinner.  Grandma brought over a "dream cake," from SF, so light and yummy!   This is one of mama's favorite cake now.

Star Wars battle in our living room: Commander Cody/Boba Fett vs.Captain Rex (Dada)  ... we built forts and all.  Dada's so fun to play with!
