Happy 4th Anniversary to our family blog

Today marks the 4th anniversary of our weekly Sunday night blog!  That's a total of 206 weekly entries the last 4 years.  For those of you counting, yes we missed 2 weeks but not a bad track record.  Thanks for those of you who have been sharing our simple and silly lives with us.  Please leave us a comment below to let us know you're reading our blog.

In the summer we love playing in our little sideyard.  Today we got to play with water and get all wet, so fun!

Happy be-lated Father's Day to Gong Gong.  Yummy dim sum at The Kitchen in Millbrea with Mama's family.

Celebrating Great Grandma's older sister's (right side) 95th birthday!  Together they have over 185 years of wisdom!

What a fiesta celebrating a 95th b-day!

Not a fiesta without a pinata - we got lots of yummy and fun goodies (thanks auntie Jessie!)

This week we had a lot of fun summer playdates. On Monday, we had a fun day at the North Park Apts with Auntie Emi: lunch, swimming, card games and Cars 1.  Thanks for spending your day off with us!

A number of playdate with our neighbors Josh and Andrew.  "Lego camp" at our house.

Auntie Irene took us to see Jungle Joe the ventriloquist perform at the library and then she treated us to Pinkberry, yummy!  We are so spoiled.

This week's FFF (family fun friday) we went to see Cars 2 on opening day and then to Tomatina for dinner.  Grandma and Grandpa came down to join us for the fun, thanks!  Mari's 1st movie, she actually stayed awake and seated the whole time.

Thank you Dada

On Father's Day, while Dada was volunteering to set up at our church we cooked him his favorite breakfast, eggs and rice, .  He's not a morning person but he helps set up our church service at 6:45am every Sunday.   Dada - thanks for teaching us to serve God and follow His ways.

We made a happy face with his eggs to let him know how happy he makes all of us.   We'd like to dedicate this week's blog to our bestest Dada ...

Dada - Thanks for volunteering at our Vacation Bible School (VBS) and for all the times you volunteer at our schools.  Appreciate you reading to our class and chaperoning field trips.  Our friends think you are a super cool dad and like you spiky hair.  Some think you're our older brother.

1st swimming lesson this summer.  Thanks for being our personal swim teacher.  You teach us so many things: b-ball, soccer, how to ride a bike and much more.

Thanks for teaching us to do so many things.  Not only at home depot workshops but everyday.  We know it takes much longer to let us do it but you always take the time to teach us from changing batteries, light bulbs, taking out trash, building furniture, cooking, how to brush our teeth, shower ... you teach us so much!  We feel so important and capable because of you.

Thanks for being so fun!  We know you are busy with work and many responsibilities but you always make time to have fun with us everyday.  We love to "rough house" with you and play games.  Thanks for teaching us how to play UNO for FFF (family fun friday) this week!  We love this new game.

1st meal in our backyard this week, enjoying the sun.  Thanks for always making our family meals a priority.  We love our 7:30am family breakfast to start our day.  We know it's hard to get home for our 5:30 dinner but you almost always manage to make it.  Even if it means you'll have to work after putting us down to bed.

Thanks for treating me like a princess all the time with your loving hugs and kisses ... even at 4am in the morning.

Louie/Chan Father's Day celebration.  Thanks for showing us how important time with our extended family is and always feeding us so well.

Google river rafting trip at American River in Sacramento.   Thanks for showing us how to work hard and play hard.

Dada ... thank you ... we love and adore you!   - Tyler, Ethan & Mari (aka Pal, Precious & Princess)

Preschool Graduate

I'm finally done with school ... preschool that is.  1 year down, about 20 more years to go!

My fan club came to see me sing and dance.

Auntie Emi and Uncle Roo brought us to Great America to celebrate my graduation and my big bro's be-lated 7th bday.  What a great day we had, thanks Uncle Roo & Auntie Emi!

Meeting the characters.

More sweets for us and meet spotty the giraffe we won for Mari.

Summer Sat morning classes started this week.

On Sat, my brothers had a drop off bday party so I had Mama and Dada all to myself.  They brought me out for some Taiwanese food ... onion pancakes and ox tail noddle soup, yummy!

On Sun, while my brothers were at Great America I went out to eat some more.  5 Guys burger, Dada's favorite.

Pinkberry for dessert.  My parents sure like to eat.  Can't wait til I have teeth.

Just chilling in my crib.  My "friends" keep me quite entertained.

Killing time at school play structure before Game 3 of NBA finals.

I want some ramen too!

Monthly Home Depot workshop.

Helping Dada get gas.  Boy they're making us do a lot of work around here.

Auntie Tracy and Uncle Michael - thanks for taking us to see Kung Fu Panda II in 3D!  We really liked the movie, so funny.   While we were at the movies, Mama, Dada and Mari enjoyed the Union St Fair in SF.  They had some yummy street food and got lots of freebies.

Grandma - thanks for the lunchable treat, we really enjoyed it at school the next day.  Thanks for staying over 1 night this week to help take care of us!

This week, Mama had her annual sales and marketing conference at the SJ Fairmont.  She looks forward to his event as she gets to see many of co-workers from around the world and get to eat lots of yummy gourmet food.   She partied 2 nights in a row with her co-workers after she tucked us in bed.
