More SIP activities

Mom's turn to plan Family Fun Friday this week - we made our own individual pizza, played a new mystery game and our recent favorites board games - Splendor and Ticket to Ride.  Ethan was our champion. 

Tyler's meal this week - BBQ pull pork burger, yum!  

Date with mom - been craving In & Out for a while. 

Parents forced us to take a stroll when there was a window of fresh air since it's been quite smokey outside due to the fires. 

Dinner picnic with our church buddies - Yangs and Lees.   So good to be outside with friends. 

Bedtime story with mom - "Your Special Gifts,"  a good reminder to use the unique gifts God has given us to bless others. 

Growing my Star Wars Lego collection. 

Slowly but surly they are growing. 

This weekend, the humans added 2 lights above my favorite couch so they can read, hope it's not too bright for me to sleep on the couch now. 

 

Back to "School" 2020

First day of 4th, freshman and junior year.  No shoes or backpack required. 

Turned the guest room into my new "classroom" 

Excited for high school ... big bro got a new desk, more room for my Star Wars Lego sets. 

Bummed I won't get to see all my friends during recess but still excited for 4th grade. 

Daily school lunch break outdoors with friends who live on the same street.

Putting the finishing touches on building my new PC, Ethan inspired me to build my own.  

We're hopeful about this upcoming election. 

Monthly date ... wanted to picnic but ended up eating in the car due to bad air quality. 

Mom's new creation ... homemade organic strawberry jam.

They're adults now

Parents finally turned 18!   They met when they were 18, now they've been married for 18 years! 

They went to Pebble Beach to celebrate where they enjoyed their simple lunch in the car (to stay warm) and admired the view and sounds of Pebble Beach.  

They enjoyed their first dining experience since March.  We appreciated our parent-less time ;) 

This weekend I got promoted from a Girl Scout Brownie to Junior.  So nice to see my whole troop together in person (we've been meeting online)

My long awaited Star Wars set that just came out this weekend - had to call so many stores!  

 

Staycation week

We were suppose to be in Hawaii this week with Dad's family.  Since trip got cancelled, we took some family field trips together instead.  Day 1 was hiking with the Mewies.   Was quite a workout but so nice to be with nature and no one else on the trail with us.  

Always a fun time with our twin cousins. 

Smitten ice cream, juice and Sugarfina treat at Santana Row after a long hike.  

Day 2: Capitola Beach in Santa Cruz.   The parents had a quiet stroll on the beach without us.

We are so use to being home, a day on the beach wiped us out. 

Loved beach time so much, we went to another beach for more cousin time. 

The older "kids" just lounging around.
