Kids Games Summer Day Camp

This week we went to our 2nd annual Kids Games sponsored by our church (http://southbaychurch.org/).  We played sports, made arts and crafts, got wet, learned about God's love and much more!   For "crazy hat" day, we were the giraffe brothers.

For FFF, we had a sleepover at Auntie Min & Uncle Mike's.  We had so much fun playing monopoly, card games, making mickey pancakes and doing lots of other fun/goofy things!  We love family sleepovers!

While we were at the sleepover, the rest of the family went to Sonoma for Uncle Phil and Auntie Erika's wedding.  Don't they seem so relaxed with only 1 kid?

Italian dinner in SF with Dada's God family visiting from So Cal.

At Jonah's 1st b-day party,  the magician pulled a real rabbit out of his hat.

And Mari pulled her friend Ellie out of her hat.

We went to visit our newest transplant to the bay area, Dada's God-brother and family.  Dada's working on moving all his So Cal family to the bay area ... his plan is working!

Just chilling while Dada donates blood.  He's more scared of needles than we are so we were there to support him ;-)

Fondue party with the Tan kids.  Auntie Loan joined our playdate this time.  She was quite overwhelmed with 6 kids on a chocolate high!

Dada Summer Day Camp

On Mon and Tue Dada took some time off work to do some fun summer things with us.  Mon we started the day with paddle boating in Mt. View.

Then off to Google for another yummy lunch.

Kids bowl free at Palo Alto Bowl and many other locations throughout the summer: http://www.kidsbowlfree.com

Edgewood Eats in Palo Alto for dinner -  there were about 12 food trucks.  Our favorite was Chairman Boa and Frozen Yogurt.

On Tue we went to Gilroy Gardens.  The park was so empty we had most of the rides all to ourselves.  No lines, so fun!

Although we sometimes fight, we do really love each other and are inseparable :-)

It's my 1st time bowling, which ball should I use?  Some of them are heavier than me!

We had so much fun bowling, we went 2 days in a row.

This week's FFF, was water game outside.  Mama's turn to plan - we had to use our squirt balls to knock down the cups.  We had to fill up buckets .. Mama thought of a lot of silly wet games to keep us busy for FFF.  Next week's FFF will be a sleepover at Uncle Mike and Auntie Min's!

I love getting kisses from Dada!  I really do have him wrapped around my lil fingers ;-)

Tue Nite - Cuban dinner with middle school girlfriends celebrating Auntie Joy's b-day.  Super Dada took care of all 3 of us all by himself.

Thur nite - She snuck out after tucking us in.  Sushi dinner with her college girls celebrating Auntie Loan's b-day.
Family party in honor of Mama's grandma we passed away 10 years ago.  Here are her grandkids and great grandkids (only about 1/2 of us).   Mama sure has a lot of cousins, can't wait til we have some!

Summer fun

Mommies and daughters at Tarynn's 1st b-day party (L-R): Courtney (4mo), me (6 mo), Tarynn (12 mo) and Sienna (17 mo)

Watching a movie with my brothers, theater style at a community clubhouse

Star Wars playdate with my friends Jace and RyRy.

This Sat we were tri-athletes: b-ball, soccer and swimming all in one day ... thanks Dada!

Getting our books ready for our library visit with Grandma.  I checked the book off the list and Ethan put it in the bag.  Grandma - thanks for taking us on a fun outing on Wed.

Our parents had a nice Indian dinner date while Auntie Irene watched all 3 of us!  Thanks Auntie Irene, please come play with us again!

Santana Row late night snacks.  They had all of Mama's Santana Row favorites: garlic fries from Pluto's, Cesar Padini salad from Pizza Antica and Hazelnut cake and Tirumisu from Cocola.  These girls like to eat.

Jamba Juice run and park with Auntie Jen.  Thanks for coming over to play with us!

This "work station" keeps me pretty busy these days.

FFF (family fun friday) ... I (Tyler) planned a drawing contest for my family.  We each had 2 minutes to draw a specified animal.  Winner gets to be the judge for the next round.  We all had lots of fun.  Next week is Mama's turn to plan FFF.

Happy July 4th 2011

Happy 4th & happy 6 months old to me.  Uncle Mike gave my brother Tyler this outfit 7+ years ago.  My turn to sport the American pride.

We went to our annual neighborhood July 4th picnic/parade as Things 1, 2 and 3.

I celebrated Independence Day with my very 1st bite of food.

We got to stay up late to see the Shoreline July 4th fireworks from a Google building.

BBQ dinner and card games with Dada's siblings before he heads out for his SNH (Sunday Night Hoops).

PoPo and Auntie Tracy came over for dinner.  I'm so happy to see them, can you tell?

Boys day out to Happy Hallow.  We went on Tue and had the park almost all to ourselves.  No lines, love it!

Chess match at Santana Row after dinner.

Uncle Michael stayed with us for 3 days this week.  He was super helpful.  Here he is feeding Mari and supervising our lunch.  We did lots with him: homework, swimming, games, park etc.

He even came with us to the doctors.  I had to get 5 kinder shots and Mari had to get her 6 month old shots.

Dinner at Pasta Pomodoro.  Kids eat free every Tue night.

Google seafood fair: jumbo shrimp, clams, oysters, mussels, calamari, abalone, fish and more!

Dada, can I have some please?

Both of us started in our own soccer classes on Saturdays.  The coaches make lots of fun games in the park right by our house!

Grilled steak, oysters, shrimp, portabello mushroom and zucchini for dinner with Mama's family.

Premier pizza lunch in our neighborhood plaza, our fav pizza.  We love to eat outside.  Can you find Mari?

"Hanging Out" online with Dada's family on Google+.  Such a fun tool!  Ask Dada for a Google+ invite if you don't already have one and start setting up your "circles."

Swimming fun

Our summer swimming lessons has begun. Dada is our personal instructor.  He has taught us so much.  This week he also decided to start swimming laps on this own for exercise.  He's planning to hit the pool around 8pm every Tue & Thur night after he tucks us in.  Let him know if you'd like to join him for a swim

I like to keep Mama company when she works.

Intrigued by the heavy rain on Tue.

This week was Mama's turn to plan FFF (family fun friday).  She taught us how to play a few card games.  One of our new favorite one is "no way!" (aka "BS" but she won't tell us what that stands for).

On Sat, Mama went with her college girls friends to see New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys.   She felt like she was in middle school again.  Dada got to see Transformer 3 Imax 3D on Fri night.  Our parents sure are busy after they tuck us in.

A great performance by NKOTBSB.

On Monday night I had Mama and Dada all to myself since my 2 brothers went to SF for a sleepover with Mama's family.  They brought me to Edgewood Eat in Palo Alto (12 food trucks).  I watched them eat all this yummy food and not even a bite for me.  This Treatbot strawberry/watermelon ice cream look so yummy.  Can't wait til I can eat.

Visiting our friends Chloe and Kelis in the east bay.  They have a really cool bunk bed, hope we can get one soon.

They also have a cool art studio in their loft.

Chase's 1st b-day party - these are the coolest balloon light sabers.

July Home Depot project - drinks coasters.

Putting our Home Depot workshop skills to work.
