Take Your Child To Work Day 2012

Annual Take Your Child To Work Day - we look forward to this all year.

They put us to work to program a Lego Robot.

Last month GoaGoa had a date with Dada to an NBA game, this month it's my turn!  I'm still smiling about this outing.  Live game, Dada all to myself, cotton candy, stayed up until 11pm and got on big screen ... what a treat, thanks Dada!

This weekend we had almost all our meals outside.  Our neighbors the Lims joined us for a BBQ dinner.  So fun to eat with our friends (and then play with water squirt guns).

Atlanta Biz Trip

This week Dada had to go to Google's Atlanta office for work.  He brought back lots of Google goodies for us: t-shirts, notepads, flashlights, wristbands etc.  

Everyday I drop and pick up my brothers from school.  Now I can walk on my own there instead of being pushed around in my stroller.  

I'm ready for bed but my mom's not ready to put me down.  She thinks I'm so precious when I'm asleep Wonder why she doesn't always think that when I'm awake? ;-) 

Getting ready for Uncle Eric (Dada's cousin's) & Auntie Thuy's Vietnamese style engagement party.   We had to present the bride's family with lots of yummy food and gifts.

 1st time in pool since Nov.  Looking forward to pool time this summer.  Our swim lessons starts in May @ our community pool.

This week for Da Goa's (Eldest Bro) turn to plan our FFF (family fun friday).  He picked salmon sushi for dinner, I like! 

Like my dinosaur creation?  We love legos!

Spring Break

I had a 2nd ear surgery on Thur to re-position the titanium in my ear to help with my hearing.  We'll know how everything went in a month when I have my hearing test.  Can you please continue to pray that it heals nicely so I won't need any more ear surgeries?   

Because I did such a good job, I got to go across the street from the hospital to pick some Baskin Robin ice cream.  I picked chocolate caramel and Mama's favorite, mint chip (she only likes the one from BR).  

Later that night, I got to pick what I wanted for dinner, Sweet Tomatoes.  Mari was having so much fun walking around.  Our neighbors the Lams joined us and we bumped into Auntie Emi and Uncle Roo ... it was a fun party with lots of food! 

What else is new?  They snuck out to try another new restaurant, Cooking Papa's (Hong Kong cuisine).  But this time they thought we might like it so they brought us to try it a couple days later.  

And we loved it!  Our favorite dishes were the peking duck, rice wrap, and their donut balls.  Can't wait to go back. 

When we are on break, we like to drop Dada off at work and have breakfast with him.  Love their pancakes, crispy bacon, apple sausages and made to order eggs.  This time they had a yummy guava peach smoothie.  

After breakfast we played foosball.   We can't wait to work at Google, so much to eat and do here!

Mama's always pushing me around, my turn to push someone else around now.  Thanks Nora for passing down your nice girly toy to me! 

Dada came home early one afternoon to take us out to enjoy the rain.  We love walking around the neighborhood with our umbrellas and rain boots.   Especially if we get to go to ...

 McDonalds!  Haven't been here in ages so it was a fun afternoon snack.

Boys' hike to Ulistac Natural Park, we had so much fun exploring, climbing,  throwing rocks into the river etc.  Dada - thanks for always making time to do the simple things with us, you're so fun!

Easter 2012

Easter service was amazing.  We started a new series called, "Where Is God When I ... "  Come join us:  http://southbaychurch.org/.    This week we went to help Dada set up for service for a bit, it's hard work.  

Easter Egg Hunt #1 with the Kau's, our neighbor / church / school friends.

Egg Hunt #2 at our local park hosted by our church for the community.  Thousands of people came out to collect tens of thousands of eggs.

Our twin cousins came over for Egg Hunt #3.  We gave them a head start but they still didn't get too many eggs.

The adults participated too.   When there are golden eggs with $, everyone wants to join the fun.

I turned 15 months this Tuesday!  1.25 years old already.

Google hosted it's very 1st Take Your Parents To Work Day.  Dada's parents had a fun and yummy time.   In a couple weeks, it's TYCTWD "take your child to work day", an annual event we look forward to all year.

Ethan's Prayer Request: I'm having my 2nd ear surgery this Thur 4/12 @ 8:45am, can you please pray that all goes smoothly and that it'll be my last ear surgery?  Thanks!   - Ethan :-)  

2 day school week = lots of fun

Special private tour at LucasFilm in SF to visit Darth Vader and Friends. 

Basketball date night with my dad (Warriors vs. Hornets)!  So exciting to watch a live game and have my dad all to myself.   

Dada's college roomie, Uncle Franco who works for the Warriors asked me to help him make some announcements.   I was on the BIG screen!  Very special night.

Went to visit my twin cousins.  Can't wait til they can run around with me.

I'm spoiled by both grandmas when they come take care of me every week!
