Simple Summer Fun

YMCA summer league started this weekend.  Dada's the assistant coach for both our teams.   We love learning from him.   

Great grandma finally let us take her out for a walk to Santana Row.  She has moved into her assisted living home for 3+ months and it's her 1st time checking out her "backyard."   

We had dinner outdoors the last couple nights.  Too hot to be outside during the day but perfect in the evening.   

Grandma brought me this cupcake that's almost bigger than my face, so yummy! 

Summer homeschool - learning about math, science, art, reading and geography.  Fun game!

So grateful

On Friday afternoon, while Dada was driving home from work he got into a car accident.  A car was swerving into his lane so he tried to avoid it but ended up losing control flew across 3 lanes and hit the center divide.  We feel so fortunate that he came out of this with just a few scratches.  Praise God!    

This week we went to Vacation Bible School to learn about how God helps us stand strong!   We feel so thankful to have God in our lives. 

We rode with our neighbors to and from VBS camp all week.  

Weekly Tue night basketball clinic with our neighbors where Dada and another dad teaches us basketball fundamentals.  

Mama's in Nashville for a biz trip and Mari's in SF so just us boys tonight.  Stars Wars in surround sound and grilled cheese ... what an awesome combo! 

Nightly bath routine with Dada ... always such a pleasant way to end my day.  Thanks Dad! 

Helping Dada shop for his friend's bachelor party on a Google bus. 

Sister's seafood night out.  They went to Fish Market and Sushi O Sushi. 

Mama seemed to have enjoyed her mini getaway from us.  She said Nashville folks sure love their music and know how to party!
