Dad's Covid Bday

Dad turned 43 on Wed and he wanted to celebrate with Halal Guys. 

Bday morning hike while we were at "school."  They enjoyed rare clean air and quiet (since we weren't there). 

Surprise afternoon bday treat delivery from dad's bro. 

Social "distance" dinner with Uncle Michael and Auntie Sarah.  Ethan made  yummy meat loaf for us.  

I made churros from scratch

Back to school for the parents

Parents went on a kid less (aka peaceful) hike in Palo Alto ... yummy boba treat afterewards. 

Kids' monthly outing ... nice break from the parents ;) 

Parents go back to high school for back to school night ... they are so grateful for our teachers. 

Mom got a new "toy" this week ... an air fryer, "fried" chicken was a hit. 

Homemade potato chips 

Our weekly boys night ... we went to a Walmart Superstore (never been to one) to look at toys like the good ol days and got some McDs for a late night snack (felt like we haven't had McDs for years).  The girls enjoyed their spa night in a quiet house. 

4 years ago, mom and dad were in Japan for a work trip ... they wanted to relive one of mom's fav Japanese breakfast her host mom would make her ... grilled salmon. 

Mom made us go our to PE - bike ride with my neighbors.
