Merry Christmas 2010

Our family 2010 Christmas photo card. This year Mama decided to design our card.

The extended Louie family card. This year's theme is "Louie Story." Uncle Mike - great job with the card design.

Tue night we went to Los Gatos to see a park full of animated Christmas lights. The best part was that we got to stick our heads out the sunroof and take pictures.

Thur nite - mama hosted her 21st annual girls xmas gathering. She has been doing this with her middle school gfs since the 6th grade.

Live crab for Christmas Eve "snack" after our beef stew noodle soup lunch and before prime rib dinner.

Chowing down on 7 fresh crabs and 6 pounds of clams with their bare hands. Delicious and so fresh - everything was naturally sweet.

18 pounds of prime rib, was a hit!

Yorshire pudding ... almost done.

Some brotherly competition in chess. Dada taught us and we like playing against anyone. Wanna come over and play?

The Louie / Ching family shot after opening all our presents.

Christmas day with the Wangs in SF.

The 5 original Wangsters.

Holiday Fun

Our holiday fun started on Thursday with my Winter Concert at school where the 1st graders sang "It Must Be Santa." I was pretty nervous to perform in front of so many parents but ended up doing fine. Click here for a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jiC-dcJ_uJE

After the concert we walked around the neighborhood to admire all the lights.

On Fri night, Mama and Dada had another Google holiday party, this time at the SF Fairmont Penthouse! We had a good time with Uncle Michael, PoPo & GongGong (thanks!).

They look happy to be without us.

Penthouse dining room, Mama's favorite room, simple and classy.

Amazing view from the penthouse balcony (where Sean Connery got his haircut in the movie The Rock). Gourmet buffet line was served in the library, yummy desserts were in the pool table room, dancing in the dance hall/family room and high class indulgence EVERYWHERE. Wish we got to see the place.
On Sat nite, we went to Auntie Katie & Uncle Fredy's wedding. Mama had so much fun seeing her middle school girlfriends.

Way past out bedtime, we're all changed into our PJ's and ready to crash on the car ride home.

On Sun nite, over 20 of Mama's cousins came over. We had lots of yummy Vietnamese food. Mama made a big pot of pho for us.

Dance Central on Xbox Kinect, very funny to see everyone dance in our family room.

Earlier in the week, we visited "Bethlehem in Santa Clara" to learn about the true meaning of Christmas. We saw an amazing production of the night Jesus was born.

This week my top front tooth finally came out! The tooth fairy came, her 3rd visit. Can't wait to loose my next tooth. I still don't know how she gets into my room or change the tooth into a dollar bill. Ethan didn't see her either.

Santa's Visit 2010

Santa came to visit during our annual SCU pajama party.

My 1st year not crying on Santa's lap!

Whee ... I was one of the last ones to get my gift from Santa, was getting a lil worried I wasn't on his "nice" list.

Family dinner celebrating Grandpa's 61st b-day @ Spalti (Palo Alto), where Auntie Emi and Uncle Roo had their rehearsal dinner.

Yummy dinner and great company. We all enjoyed our dishes, esp dessert! One of new favorite Italian restaurants now.

Happy Birthday Grandpa! We're so happy you live close by so we celebrate these milestones together!

Silly Mama & Dada at Google's Holiday party @ SF Exploritorium. These are their digital cartoon charactatures and photo booth pics.

Google's full sushi bar station (one of many). Thanks Grandma/Grandpa for babysitting us, we had a great time at your place!

My 1st Christmas production with my preschool, sharing the true meaning of Christmas. I played the role as the Inn Keeper. Mama, Dada, and Doa Doa was so proud of me!

Dada's NBA Road Trip 2010

Dada's NBA dream come true (no he didn't get drafted by the Lakers)! 4 nights, 4 cities, 4 games. He has been wanting to do this for years. Dada was so happy his siblings can join him for this game. They all got to go to the pre-game shoot around and sit courtside!

Game 1: Warriors vs. Suns @ Oakland

Dada's travel buddy to all 4 games, Uncle Kurt.

Game 2: Lakers vs. Kings @ Los Angeles (Dada was so happy to be "home")

Fancy Suite-like dining while watching the Lakers! Dada says the food is super yummy.

En route from LA to Snowy Chicago. We see Dada's favorite Bull is Derrick Rose in his NBA magazines.

Game 3: Bulls vs. Rockets @ Chicago. Dada's favorite arena of the trip is Chicago because he said they have the most exciting atmosphere and fan participation.

Game 4: Blazers vs. Clippers @ Portland. Dada saw "Blazermania" where everybody was dressed up in Blazers gear. Those fans love their players.

Dada's late night feast, last night on the road. He told us he's been eating and drinking each meal as if it were enough for our entire family.

Mama brought us to the library and we picked this book out for Dada.

Froyo treat after watching movie Tangled.

Mama is getting Baby Sister's room ready by sorting through our old clothes. She said there's too much blue.

Aramin Thai with mama's family after visiting Uncle Steve's new home in Mt. View. Auntie Jen - thanks for lunch! Auntie Ta-ci thanks for our Star Wars toy (or should we thank Uncle Michael later?)!

Take 2 :-)
