Keeping cool in the heat

This weekend was so hot, we went swimming both days at our community pool. We're slowly getting better.
I love swimming!
This Tuesday night during our weekly Louie family dinner, we celebrated Uncle Roo's b-day.

On Friday night, Willy came over to have dinner with us. He is a 2nd year SJSU student who Mama and Dada help sponsor a scholarship via Meritus. Meritus granted Mama a scholarship to attend SCU in 1996.

Willy bought us a each a lego set.

iPad time while visiting Grandma, Grandpa & Great Grandma at their SF condo.

Happy 3rd Birthday Princess Gaby!

Dada had fun jumping around with us at Pump It Up for Gaby's b-day.

Dada's 33rd Birthday Celebration

We celebrated Dada's 33rd birthday with SEVEN REAL Star Wars characters from the 501st Garrison. All of us, especially Dada was star struck to have special visitors from a galaxy far far away.
All of our friends, and especially our family had to come dressed up so that our friendly Stormtroopers, Clone Troopers, Bobba Fett, and Luminara would feel included at the party. Everyday this past week, I asked Dada if Bobba Fett or the Storm Troopers would shoot us. He said not at the party because they're our guests and that it's his birthday...but I was only a little bit scared.

Check out the rest of the outfits, behind the scenes, and a close up of the party album here!

On Dada's actual birthday day, we surprised him with a plan for
the day and the creations we made out of Foamfetti (snowman by doa doa
and egypt pyramids by ethan), packaged with a card and some candy. Here's the plan:
  • wake up at 7am
  • sneak up on dada with the presents sing happy birthday
  • make oatmeal with special toppings for breakfast
  • 12pm pick up ethan
  • 2pm pick up tyler
  • 4pm go to Target
  • 5pm eat at Chili's for dinner
Following the plan, Dada brought my favorite pizza and sushi from Google, with bunny snacks and had a special picnic at Santa Clara park which is close to my pre-school. That night, Dada also got taken out by his SCU friends and other buddies. We thought we heard him come home around 4am, but he still took me to school and went to work the next day!

We also celebrated Auntie Nancy and Uncle Hibb's birthday as well.

I had my first date ever, and it was with Auntie Irene! Just on our own - no parents or lil bro. We went to Target and exchanged presents that she got us with my first Star Wars video game and Star Wars Transformer for Ethan. Thank you Auntie Irene!
